Sydney Bossuk on Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire

A native New Yorker, I discovered performing on my Waldorf school stage before earning my B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. I've since trained classically at the British American Drama Academy and sharpened my comedic instincts at Upright Citizens Brigade.

My journey has taken me from Clytemnestra in "The Oresteia" to Janet in "The Drowsy Chaperone." I've stretched my abilities as a NY Lyric Opera semi-finalist and had the honor of performing Elphaba at Symphony Space to raise funds to make college theatre program auditions accessible. While I deliver dramatic gravitas when needed, I shine brightest when my comedic timing and quick wit take center stage.

Off-stage, you'll find me at an open mic night, advocating for environmental causes, pitching fastballs on the softball field, riding my unicycle (yes, really!), hosting epic dinner parties, tending to Edgar Allan Dough (my sourdough starter), or serving my feline overlord, Jasper.

Whether it's a musical theater role that showcases my mezzo/soprano range, a challenging dramatic character, or a comedic part that leaves audiences in stitches, I bring energy, authenticity, and a healthy dose of New York sass to every project.

Let's create something memorable together!
